Race track modeling on Blender
Nemausus E-Prix and Anchorage GP
I built two racetracks for the game Assetto Corsa using Blender and a lot of time. I’ve drawn a lot of potential designs over time but only two actually made it as far as they are today. The first one is Nemausus which is a Formula-E type track directly inspired from the streets of my hometown.
The second one is the Anchorage GP track. This track is inspired from the “Circuit de Lédenon” also near where I live. Anchorage is far bigger and harder to drive than Nemausus. A standard lap using a modern Formula 1 car at Anchorage is around 1:30 while the same car for Nemausus does a lap in 1:00 flat.
Building these two tracks and the couple of failed attempts before them helped me understand Blender better. I spent around 40h in total designing and modeling tracks in Blender.
